ABOUT ME
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT | SELF SHOOTING CAMERA OP
MY ROLE
As an independent self-shooting videographer, I have been fortunate enough to work with a diverse range of clients, including Michelle Jamieson, Northern Stars, and Grimsby Town Football Club. With a strong focus on videography, I am currently building my portfolio and body of work to establish myself as a director of photography.
My experiences in the field have been extensive, working on various productions in film and television, including serving as a production assistant on "Three Day Millionaire" and on "All Town Aren't We?", both produced by Shush Films and directed by Jack Spring. Additionally, I have contributed to many small independent features such as "1881", "Dead By Midnight,", and "The Killing Choice". One of the most notable successes I have been a part of is the film "Three Day Millionaire", which achieved commercial success on the independent circuit and streaming platforms, reaching number one in comedies on Netflix within 24 hours of its release in February 2023.

THE FREELANCING SIDE
As an independent freelancer, my role revolves around assisting and helping other local filmmakers. This has led me to work with various local independent venues, such as Mind Your Paws, Phillips 66, Docks Academy, BT Sport, Grimsby Town Football Club, Ambition Films, and CineShow.
My primary goal is to gain more experience within the TV industry and work with highly experienced crews in this sector. When I work on projects with other independent freelancers, my responsibilities typically involve helping with set-ups, filming, and prepping contributors while working in the best interest of the entire team and client. Additionally, I have used my experience and passion for film to produce a variety of short films in music and small projects. At present, I am focused on applying for the ScreenSkills Trainee Finder for 2024 and developing ideas for documentary projects exploring the cost of living crisis.
