Currently, I have had the direct opportunity to work on local sponsored production (1881 - directed by local director Michael Parsons) consequently I have taken a lot away from the experience of working as a sound recordist and production assistant.
The main take away at this stage is I have been able to engage across multiple different departments the have put into practise my adaptability to take professional direction, and to proactively solve concerns brought about by different departments and crew members and work collaboratively to come to aiding and put in solutions.
As a runner (production assistant) it has been my role to help give directive instruction to lockdown sets during filming, aide production hands in transporting equipment between locations and take responsibility in carrying out errands for cast and crew, I feel that this has given me an approach of how to look into the runners role, below is an animatic for the shoot during which I was involved.
