FREELANCE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT/VIDEOGRAPHER
MY ROLE
I work as an Independent self-shooting videographer when working on promotional and documentary features, and as a Production Assistant and Researcher while working on narrative films and TV features. When working with clients, I will create content with the focus and potential for the best outcome of creating the strongest vision for the aspirations to fully achieve the clients needs, these feature will have a strong focus on editing, colour design into the formal process.
My formal focus is to work as producer/videographer, I have been lucky enough with working opportunities on various productions in film. In 2021, I served as production assistant on "Three Day Millionaire" and again on an upcoming documentary produced by Shush Films, directed by Jack Spring. In 2022, I shot and self produced my first full independent feature documentary Grimsby Town: Finding Our Winning Ways.
Films I have worked on include "Three Day Millionaire" which has received commercial success both on Independent circuit and streamers, with the film scheduled for release on Netflix in February 2023.

THE FREELANCING SIDE

When not working on commercial side or with productions teams, I work as an independent freelancer alongside my studies at the University Centre Grimsby, my role as a independent freelancer has lead me to work with local independent venues including (Mind Your Paws, Phillips 66, Docks Academy, BT Sport and Grimsby Town Football Club), I hope to work with more freelancers in more commercial venues in the music scene going into the future.
I often during this field of work, work with other independent freelancers including Sam Sharp (Media Director at Docks Academy) and Christopher Curtis (Director of Curtis Creative) this usually includes me helping with set-ups, filming and prepping contributors and organising details in edits and colour grades, all while continuing to work in the best interest of the team and client I am working with. I have been using my experience and interest in documentary to create and deliver my new upcoming project for my final study, and have a new production under formal proposal to deliver at the conclusion of studies.
